The Aquanautic Club Lanzarote is an I.A.C / CMAS, VDST and SSI diving school and authorized as Centro de Buceo according to the latest decree of the Canary Islands Government (Gobierno). In order to obtain this certificate, all areas concerning scuba diving and snorkeling are controlled, e.g. Maintenance of equipment and compressors, qualification of employees, and compliance with standards for all services offered.

This means that our guests can be sure to get their training, diving and snorkeling to the required standards and beyond.

The modern Aquanautic Club Lanzarote with an area of more than 130 m² offers everything a diver’s heart desires and needs. Your equipment may remain in the base, drying room with sufficient hangers for suits and jackets, room with shelves for boxes, large wet room with sink and automatic washing system for the equipment and sinks for vending machines are of course available.

Due to the location in the south of the island, the diving operation can be operated almost unrestricted year-round. Below Lanzarote’s sea level you can discover a fascinating and colorful world. Diving is a mix of year round clear and warm waters, big fish encounters, caves, wrecks, schools of fish and impressive rock formations. You can see, for example, Groupers, seahorses, manta rays, puffer fish, soft corals, angel sharks and crust anemones.

The Aquanautic Club Lanzarote has been nominated by the renowned trade magazine “Tauchen” for the 3 “Best Dive Centers in the Atlantic” after 2007, 2009 and 2010. Our opening hours are from 08:30 to 18:00 from Monday to Saturday.

White beaches and crystal-clear water meet volcanic landscapes from another world – Lanzarote is an island full of contrasts and wild beauty. The easiest way to explore even remote areas and vibrant cities with a rental car. “Fire Island” is also called Lanzarote – named after the many ocher volcanoes that characterize the landscape of the Canary Island next to the blue coast. Arrecife – the capital of the island still exudes the original flair of a small fishing town with its winding streets and the beautiful city harbor. One of the attractions is the fortress of San Gabriel, which once protected the inhabitants from pirate attacks.

Lanzarote is known as one of the best diving destinations in the world and is ideal for beginners as well as advanced divers. In the south of the island, the dive operation can be operated almost unrestricted year-round. Crystal clear water, which gives you a good view under water (up to 40 m) and moderate temperatures up to 24 ° C offer optimal diving conditions. Bizarre rock formations and varied underwater landscapes provide the ideal habitat for numerous marine species … seahorses, groupers, stingrays, manta rays, puffer fish, angel sharks … along with soft corals and crusted anemones. Likewise, wrecks and caverns entice you to descend. The modern Aquanautic Club Lanzarote offers you all sorts of amenities. A sun terrace with adjoining bar where you can take snacks and refreshments in the surface break! We have a generous laundry room where you can of course dry your equipment after the dives! A modern Bauer filling system with 500 l of min. Steel bottles in all common sizes with DIN valve. To the dive sites you will be driven with our 9 seater buses.
We offer double units and stage bottles for trained Tec divers.
All dives are accompanied by experienced instructors!
Tip: Underwater Museum
With the creation of the monumental project Museo Atlántico, the artist Jason deCaires Taylor wanted to create an effective visual dialogue between art and nature. The Submarine Museum, designed to be a huge artificial reef with a focus on environmental protection, has seen a significant increase in species multiplication and diversity since the sinking of the first sculptures in 2016. Currently, it is often visited by angel sharks, swarms of barracudas and sardines, octopuses, sponges and occasionally butterfly rays. The museum, which covers an area of 50 x 50 meters of uninhabited seabed, was constructed from pH-neutral, environmentally friendly materials. all of its components have been designed to blend into endemic marine life. The tour of the museum starts at the entrance and ends at the exit. The exhibition consists of ten installations whose aim is to reflect on the present day and which raise some questions about the use of natural resources.
